Taste of the NFL expected to be largest in event’s history
February 2011′s Taste of the NFL, a celebrity infused food-fest that precedes the Super Bowl, is shaping up to be one of the largest in the event’s history, organizers said Thursday.
In the number of tickets expected to be sold – more than 3,000 – and in celebrity chefs participating – at least 45 – the North Texas chow down looks to be heading for the record books, with six months still to go before anyone takes the first bite.
“It’s the most chefs that have ever participated,” said Linda Bendt, a spokeswoman for the event on Feb. 5, 2011 — Super Bowl eve. The event is designed to raise money to fight hunger.
