Grocery lobby spends over 900K in Q2
The Grocery Manufacturers Association spent $930,000 in the second quarter to lobby on food safety, advertising and other business issues, according to a recent disclosure report.
That is down from the $1 million spend in the first quarter by the trade group — whose members include major food companies such as Archer Daniels Midland Co., ConAgra Foods Inc. and Hormel Foods Corp.
